This exceptional car was on display at Retromobile 2004. Named the "Duke of Montpensier", the type MJ chassis was manufactured in 1914 but bodied in 1919 by Henry Rougier. It has 6 cylinders, 9 liters and 40 HP.

A historical photo of this great car!

A 1939 Bentley 4-1/4 litre drophead by Vanvooren. A very late "MR" series car with overdrive. This is what I consider the bet looking post-war drophead Bentley. My appreciation was confirmed when it sold for $485,000 at Christies Paris.

Standing next to Charles Howard's Rolls-Royce Phantom I, body by Clarks of Wolverhampton (the ex-Stanley Sears car). This is probably the most elaborate Rolls-Royce ever built. It sold in 1988 to a Japanese collector for $10 million.

Exquisite interior of the Phantom I owned by Charles Howard.
