Austin-Healey 1966 3000 Mk III BJ8

This 1966 Austin-Healey BJ8 is a two-owner car from new showing just under 45k original miles.  It is a rust and accident-free example, and it retains original floorboards, rocker panels, fenders, and totally straight and solid frame. The interior, top, and both tonneau covers are original and in very good condition with no rips or unwoven stitching. Most of the brightwork is in excellent condition, with slight pitting on both bumpers, which can probably be buffed out. The car was repainted sometime in the 1980's, which is beginning to shows its age, but still looks good from five feet.

Since our acquisition, we had the car fully inspected, serviced, and lubricated by noted Healey mechanic and Pebble Beach judge Roy Miller of East-West Motors, as well as the addition of new parts, such as:

brake calipers and pads
wheel cylinders
brake hoses
slave cylinder for clutch
voltage regulator
starter
light switches
muffler

All lights, signals, and switches work properly.

This low-mileage Healey operates excellently, shifting smoothly through all gears including overdrive and stops straight.

This is a great opportunity to purchase a low-mile, mostly original 'Big Healey' at a reasonable price compared to the near triple digit numbers highly restored examples have been bringing.
