Bentley 1938 4 1/4 Litre Sport Saloon by Mann Egerton
This 1938 Bentley 4 1/4 Litre Sport Saloon with factory sunroof was delivered new to Mann Egerton Coachbuilders as their demo car for the year. In 1939 it was sold to it's first owner Mr. S.J. Sims. It changed hands a couple times until Mr. Gordon Fairbanks of Indiana bought B93KU who enjoyed it for twenty years. There have been just two owners since then.
The car comes complete with an extensive history and service file as well as original handbook and tools. The paint and interior display a wonderfully presentable patina and the bright work is in excellent condition. We completed a full engine overall by famed Rolls-Royce/Bentley mechanic Roger Ford upon purchase, and the car is in perfect working order.
