Bentley 1936 4-1/4 Litre Aerosport Saloon by Gurney Nutting

One of the most attractive Rolls-Royce Bentley models of the late 1930's, this one-off Airflow Saloon was built in 1936 on a 4-1/4 Litre chassis.  Designed by Gurney Nutting chief stylist A.I. McNeill, the sleek, fastback four-door sedan was among a handful of trend setting cars of similar design built in Europe and the United States throughout the mid to late 1930's.  The fastback style would be continued by automotive designers well into the post-World War II era.
