Mercedes-Benz 1956 300SL Gullwing
Sold new to an American working in Libya for an oil company. It was ordered with US specs and a high speed (4:11) rear end. After his tour of duty, he then shipped it back to the United States.
Over 25 years ago, Fred Kemp purchased the car for his 60 car collection. Four years ago, he asked his restorer, Bill Nelson to do a complete restoration on the car. Bill Nelson is well known in the industry as a perfectionist and finished the car in January 2007.
The build sheet shows that every item (paint, upholstery, equipment, etc.) is correct to this car and it comes with new luggage.
Exceptional in every way.
