Packard 1938 1601 Graber Cabriolet
1938 Packard 1601 Graber Cabriolet
This unique one off 1938 Packard Cabriolet by the Swiss coach-builder Graber has a 4.6 liter, 8 cylinder engine on a Super Eight chassis.
It was first shown at the Geneva Auto Salon in 1938, where it received great acclaim. Graber also built a similar body, but without the V windscreen, on a Duesenberg which was shown at Pebble Beach this year.
It took twenty years to convince the previous owner to sell his barn find jewel.
Not on the road since the early 1950's, it is amazing that it took minimal mechanical work to get the car running like new.
