The history of this car...
According to the build sheet supplied by the Cadillac Historical Services, this original V12 Dual Cowl Phaeton (series 370) was supplied new in early 1931 to the Brooklyn Branch for Cadillac in New York. Its original color scheme was very much in keeping with the Art and Color styling department led by Harley J. Earl and featured the two-tone scheme of Grey over Ravenwood Brown. Original equipment supplied with the car included side mounted spare wheels in each front fender well, and these tires were supplied with Burbank tire covers and tire mirrors. At the time of cataloging no other history of this car was known. It joined the Lüscher collection in 1989 in the same condition as viewed today.
A stunning example, runs like a Swiss watch, Americas finest!
