Rolls-Royce 1938 Phantom III Sedanca De Ville by Arthur Mulliner

1938 Rolls-Royce Phantom III Sedanca De Ville
Coachwork by Arthur Mulliner
Chassis # 3CP102.
Without question one of the finest original examples with only 50,000 documented miles from new.   Featured in the noted magazine The Motor in 1938, this beautifully styled special order prize winning show car with its polished 12 cylinder engine, buff quilted silk upholstery, Pacific maple woodwork, cigar and cocktail cabinets, roof luggage rack, desk and typewriter, electric teakettle, vacuum cleaner, extraordinary polished tool kit and numerous other custom features, conquered the concours circuit throughout Europe. Most of its trophy plaques remain with the car.
Three owners from new, the first until 1965. The full Rolls Royce service history remains today. This magnificent automobile, the epitome of all that Rolls Royce and the talents of one England's greatest Coachbuilders could conceive, would be an excellent entry car for the Preservation Class at Pebble Beach."
